Andrea wrote this song in memory of her brother Mosese who passed away while living rough in Sydney back in 2011. This is a song about always seeking help if you have troubles in your life, rather than isolating yourself.
lyrics
Verse 1:
When the world is lonely
And the nights are cold
You can always run to me
I’ll always be home
If your heart is heavy
Got something on your mind
You can always tell me
Cause it will be alright
Chorus:
You can run to me from where you are
I’ll be here waiting with open arms
You can run to me no matter how far
I’ll keep the light on in the dark
Run to me
Verse 2:
Could there be a problem
That we could not solve
Or some kind of trouble
That has got you involved
Don’t you hide away dear
Trying to be strong
You can always come to me
And tell me what’s wrong
Chorus:
You can run to me from where you are
I’ll be here waiting with open arms
You can run to me no matter how far
I’ll keep the light on in the dark
Run to me
Piano solo
Chorus:
You can run to me from where you are
I’ll be here waiting with open arms
You can run to me no matter how far
I’ll keep the light on in the dark
Run to me
Outro
Ooh
Run to me
Run to me
